If you’ve ever thought, “I wish they were open more…”
or “When will ginger molasses cookies be back?”
or even “Do they ever sell sourdough at the cart?”
This post is for you.
Because truly, so much of what’s coming in 2026 is a direct result of your questions, your feedback, and the conversations we’ve had at the cart, at markets, and in DMs.
So… let’s catch you up.
Here’s what’s new, what we’re working toward, and what you can expect from Mind Your Biscuits this season.
First, a quick refresher (hi if you’re new here)
Mind Your Biscuits Bakeshop is a mother-daughter cottage bakery based in Roswell, GA, built around family recipes, simple ingredients, and teaching our girls what it looks like to build something of their own.
We pop up at a few markets around town, but The Cookie Cart is our roadside stand—run by the girls—where we sell cookies, baked goods, and whatever else we’ve been testing in the kitchen that week.
And this year, it’s growing in the best way.

Let’s start with the big one: a more consistent schedule.
If I’m being honest, this has been the hardest piece for us to figure out.
Between sports schedules, work, and navigating Georgia’s cottage food (and lemonade stand-style) laws, there are a lot of moving parts behind the scenes at Mind Your Biscuits Bakeshop. But it’s also the thing we hear about the most—and the thing we’re most committed to improving.
Here’s what we’re working toward for 2026:
A more predictable rhythm where you can count on us being open two weekends each month from May to October, plus a regular spot at the Milton Farmers Market. We’re also leaning more into porch pickup pre-orders for things like sourdough loaves and specialty items.
We’ve learned a lot this past year about efficiency and scaling (turns out baking 12 cookies and baking 200 are… not the same), and we’re using that to expand production in a way that still feels manageable for our family.
And because we know you don’t want to guess:
- We’ll keep sharing our schedule on social (with more notice)
- You can grab a printed monthly schedule at the cart
- And the best way to stay updated (and know what’s on the menu) is still our newsletter + Hot Plate alerts
The Baker’s Rack (this one’s been a long time coming)

We love cookies. Obviously.
But if you’ve ever come to a market and seen our full spread, you know we do a whole lot more than that.
This year, we’re bringing more of that to the cart.
When you stop by, look for the Baker’s Rack. This is where you’ll find things like sourdough loaves, scones, English muffins, bagels, and cinnamon rolls (and I mean this with my whole heart… do NOT sleep on the cinnamon rolls).
The menu is going to rotate depending on what we’re baking that week, and quantities will be limited while we figure out demand. If there’s something you really want, pre-ordering is still your best bet.
Gluten-friendly options (because we heard you)
Gluten and bakeries usually go together like peanut butter and jelly. However, not everyone can enjoy this, and several of you have asked whether we have any gluten-free options.
This year, we’re happy to say yes! We’ve been playing around with flavors like lemon drop and Italian almond to bring you one gluten-friendly item a week. First up? Coconut macaroon.
These treats are prepared without gluten-containing ingredients, but will be baked in a kitchen that handles gluten. While we’re careful about cross-contamination, if you have serious sensitivities, we suggest you check out The Baking Lab.

Flowers & Produce (assuming the deer cooperate)

This one is very “we’ll see how it goes”… but I’m excited about it.
If you didn’t know, I (Jenn) love to garden, and Emma recently started no fewer than 24 basil plants, so naturally, we’re about to have more than we know what to do with.
As Alex has gotten more independent in the kitchen, Emma and I have found ourselves spending more time outside, and we’d love to start sharing some of what we grow.
Think: extra tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs… whatever makes it through the deer, bunnies, and squirrels (and Biscuit’s proclivity to jump the fence and dig plants up whole).
We’re also growing flowers, hoping to have small bundles available here and there. Look out for zinnias, snapdragons, and cosmos.
And because we always plant too much, you may even see “free seedlings” out during the week.
This is very much a side offering (and nature is in charge here), but it feels like a fun extension of what we’re building.

Biscuit (chaos monster) thinks he’s helping. He’s not.
Pantry favorites at the cart

If you’ve been to one of our markets, you already know our jams and mixes are a staple at Mind Your Biscuits Bakeshop.
You’ll start seeing seasonal homemade jams, dry baking mixes, and herb dips that pair perfectly with our breads. The kind of things you grab once… and then come back for every time.
The Little Free Library (Emma’s idea ❤️)

This might be my favorite addition.
Emma is officially launching a Little Free Library that we’ll set out on weekends when the cart is open. Take a book, leave a book… or honestly, just take one.
Our kids are big readers, and I’ve collected more children’s books than we could ever possibly keep. This felt like the sweetest way to share them with the community.
We’re hoping to mix in some adult reads, too—but knowing Emma, the kids’ section will be very well stocked.
So what does all of this mean for you?
It means more consistency.
More variety.
More ways to shop.
And more little touches that make the Cookie Cart feel like a place you want to come back to.
Everything we’re building is still rooted in the same thing it started with: family, community, and really good baked goods—but we’re growing in a way that lets us serve you better.

We’d love your input!
A lot of what’s in this post came directly from you.
So if there’s something else you’ve been hoping for, wondering about, or wanting us to try—tell us. Comment, message, stop us at the cart. Mind Your Biscuits Bakeshop is listening.
